MR. BOLARINWA MUSTAPHA
Bolarinwa Mustapha is a seasoned professional with strong expertise in research, analytics, and public finance. He holds a B.Sc. in Statistics from the University of Abuja and dual M.Sc. degrees in Investment & Risk Finance (Westminster Business School, University of Westminster, UK) and International Business (London South Bank University, UK).
With over a decade of experience in investment portfolio analysis, fixed income, risk metrics, data research, and budget preparation, Bolarinwa has built a solid reputation for delivering strategic insights and practical solutions.
He began his career in the Lagos State Civil Service in 2019 as a Senior Statistician at the Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget, where he contributed to budget planning and fiscal strategy. In 2023, he joined the Lagos State Debt Management Office (DMO) as Head of the Research & Training Department, where he leads global macroeconomic research, tracks key financial and debt trends, and develops strategic reports to guide policy formulation and executive decision-making. He also identifies and coordinates capacity-building programs aimed at strengthening staff competencies and enhancing performance.
Bolarinwa has attended several strategic training programs both locally and internationally, equipping him with global perspectives and innovative approaches to public debt management.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (UK), an Associate of the Institute of Strategic Management Nigeria, and a Certified Oracle Project Manager (Primavera P6).
