DMO SENSITIZE/TRAINS NEW JUNIOR STAFF
The permanent Secretary, Debt Management Office, Mr. Olujimi Ige has today enjoined newly employed staff to dedicate themselves to giving their utmost to the service and development of the State, while declaring the two-day sensitization/training for newly employed junior Staff of Debt management office open today.
The Permanent Secretary who was represented by the Director, Public Finance, Mrs Rukayat Alake Sanusi, congratulated the new staff for the opportunity to join the State Civil Service adding that there are millions of Job seekers out there who are looking for paid employment.
He advised them to avail themselves of the training in order to be more knowledgeable about the service and job ethics and put what they learn to good use.
In his opening remarks, the director, Administration and Human Resources, Mr. Bolaji Sobola said the training became necessary because the newly employed staff need to be aware of the rules guiding the service in order for them to know what is expected of them.
The participants were taken through the Civil Service Rules and Regulations, General office Regulations and Office Conduct, Work Ethics and Etiquette of Public Service, official Dress Code and General activities within the Office.
